Wall Stories is a site specific project that worked directly with the materiality and history of the upper gallery space at the Forrester Gallery. The project responded to the space; the room's architecture and the fabric on the walls became inscribed surfaces and sculptural forms that alluded to its domestic history. I worked in the gallery for 2 weeks and gallery visitors shared their stories while embroidering the jute walls.
